Tokyo Street Hello Spring!

Hello Spring ( こんにちは春 ) at Tokyo Street.

OK, to be honest, we did not go there on purpose, it just happened.

Don't forget to take vouchers for discounts!

As we went there on 24th March, they were having this Ohagi lesson for free to bring home.
Ohagi(おはぎ) , also known as Botamochi (牡丹餅)is commonly eaten during spring and autumn.
First, we have this red bean paste already in ball shape wrapped in plastic.
Then, we make "pancake" shape, preparing for the glutinous rice.
Put some glutinous rice inside and wrap it to make it in ball shape again.

Mine was the one on left, obviously looked better than my boyfriend one.
Tasted better too! Haha~

If you are free this weekend and wondering where to go, why not go for their "Caricarture" tomorrow?

Go and have a look before Hello Spring ends at 8th April!

Ohagi is the one in the photo, with red bean paste on the outside and glutinous rice inside. Sweet dessert.

That was my first time having ohagi too!
