Zakka Loft @Ipoh

*** Heavy post with lots of photos

I went to Zakka Loft for tea time during New Year 2012.
It was opened on 15th October 2011, a new concept themed cafe.

"The term Zakka is derived from the Japanese word 'Zak-ka' (雑貨). The works in Zakka are contemporary and done by an array of independent artists. Every piece of their creation are truly unique and definitely one of its kind."

Osaka Cake
This cake is quite special, with cream inside the sponge, you can just feel it explode in your mouth!

Chocolate Cheese Cake

Carrot Cake

Tiramisu

There is also tutorial available for those who want to have homemade craft made themselves.

A letter to your future
The idea is similar to time capsule, you write down your dream, bury it, then years later you dig it up and see whether you have fulfilled your dream as promised.
I love this idea, maybe some years later, this letter to future me would remind me dreams that I might have left behind.

Cute domo cookies!

Vintage themed handbag hook hanger

Homemade rings.

All items in Zakka Loft are made by different artists, each have own blogshop and website.
Imagine browsing through all handmade products from blogshops and websites live!
Every item is so special and unique that I would want to buy all of them!
Spent 5 hours there just for a tea time.

What impress me most is that Zakka Loft was founded by two girls, together they live up their dream.
They have been featured in Sin Chew Daily, The Star and online media.
Well done! *applause*

Zakka Loft constantly update their crafts.
So do check up their facebook for more info!
