Having 4 branches at Kuchai Lama,Kelana Jaya(SS25), Damansara Utama and Fraser Business Park, Bone & Pot is rather a familiar name among Klang Valley steamboat enthusiasts.

Its chinese name of 有骨气(Yau Guat Hei) is pretty catchy as it comes in double meaning of "having integrity" and "having bone fragrant". A name that clearly tells their signature broth with pork bone.

Opens from 5pm until 1am everyday.
A great place for dinner and supper.

Compared my previous visit to Bone & Pot steamboat restaurant at Kuchai Lama, I prefer this branch at F&N Fraser Business Park.
Reasons being cleaner and modern environment, comfortable seats, nicer interior, and most importantly electrical stove.
(having gas tank in the middle can be such a constraint to the leg movement)

Bone & Pot Individual Meal Set for RM14.80
Being smart consumers, we always come when it's 9pm to enjoy the happy hour dinner promotion.
And we are not the only one, so be early for the seats!

This a photo taken from the menu which I think it's interesting to share:
Realizing broth is the most important aspect of steamboat, Bone & Pot uses pork bones along with other ingredients, and takes up to 8 hours for the simmering process.

Bone & Pot Signature Broth
(with pork bones, corns, celery and scallion)
Until the broth has turned milky white in colour, naturally rich in bone essence, with fragrant and flavour.

This little bowl here of amazing broth makes me a returning and loyal customer.
Unlike other average steamboat restaurants that give out MSG-laden soup for free, this Bone & Pot Signature Broth costs RM15.
More than happy to pay for healthier and tastier choice.

Individual set for two.

Sliced Pork Meat

Pork Intestines
(with salt and pepper seasoning)
Ordered Sliced Pork Meat and Pork Intestines as side dishes.
Even though the pork intestines is up to my acceptance level, I'm still not fond of innards.

Dipping sauces
fried garlic(my favourite), chili padi sauce, sambal belacan, fermented beancurd, dried chili oil ans s.
A variety of sauces to suit your preference.

Another must try that we didn't order it this round: Golden Bean Curd.
A new trend has arises in another style of steamboat(shabu-shabu) where everyone gets to eat in their own pot, pour in whatever they want while maintaining the sanitary level(without saliva exchange in the soup using own chopsticks).
To me, I still prefer the old fashioned way of everyone gathers for one pot of steamboat:
The steamy and sweating, chit-chat while waiting the soup to boil and ingredient to be cooked, digging of what's sank to the bottom like treasure hunting, wondering together if that piece of meat is cooked, concerning each other's likes and dislikes, competing over the one and only meatball.....
These are what made it meaningful.

Didn't know they have so many branches now. Always wanted to try but the one at Kelana Jaya is pretty far off. Now that I know that they have one in Kuchai Lama, I guess it makes easier to me now.
Nice photos, btw... :)
I didn't realize that too. Tried both Kuchai Lama and Fraser Park, honestly, Fraser Park is a much better option as Kuchai Lama is the old branch. Nevertheless, the food quality is the same :)
Thank you! :D
Is RM15 pot included of soup & ingredients?
hi there :)
RM15 for the soup, then RM14.80 for the individual promotion set.
So if go in a gang, then the soup became cheap as it was shared even.
Usually if we go in 3 pax, we order 2 individual set(since the portion is big), then order some side dishes.
Around RM20-25 per person. :)
