Reservoir Garden Hawker Arcade @Air Itam, Penang

Another weekend of food explore (aka makan makan) trip to Penang!

Ever since our horrible experience at Gurney Drive Food Court, I wonder if we can explore better food in Penang just by ourselves.

Big thanks to our penangite friend, Schmidt who came to the rescue!

Had cendol upon arrival (a must have), then we went to Straits Quay for some sea breezing moment. 

Nice scenery there by the way, love the concept of marina with beautiful yachts.

At night, we came to Reservoir Garden for dinner.

Schmidt has told us to order any food and claimed that it will still be good.

Chicken Satay, RM0.55 each

They ran out of pork satay that night....

Char Koay Kark, big portion with chicken egg RM3

Kuih Ketayap, 5 pieces for RM2

Apom Telor, 5 pieces for RM2

Very crispy, but we still prefer those with thick dough in the middle.

Fried Oyster, available in RM7,9, or 12

Seriously the best oyster ever! 

Generous portion of big oysters along with its special sauce (taste like Ramly burger sauce though).

Not to mention the juiciness in it! (as seen from photo)

The dipping sauce was chilies sauce with ginger.

Much better than the one I had at Jalan Bunga Raya, Malacca.

Char Koay Teow (with duck egg), RM4.20

Another great food to love!

Unlike other Char Koay Teow, the ingredients still maintain at its colours instead of fully covered with oil thus inseparable from each other.

The duck egg definitely added in amazing aroma.

Best Char Koay Teow ever!
