Changdeokgung 昌德宮: Secret Garden

Walking inside Secret Garden (비원, 秘院), which once being private use of the king and royal family, even high officials were not allowed entrance without permission.

Even now at the present days, no entrance of any tourist will be allowed without being in a scheduled guided tour.
If they were to leave before completing the secret garden course, they shall revert back to the entrance immediately.

The garden incorporates lotus pond, pavilions, landscaped lawns, flowers and over 26,000 specimens of trees, some even over 300 years old.

Came out of the secret garden and proceed to Injeongjeon.

Served as an audience chamber in Changdeokgung, important national events such as coronation ceremony and congratulatory ceremony were held at Injeongjeon, the representative place of royal palace.
